Delete Account

We're sorry to see you go. Your data belongs to you — here's how to remove it permanently.

What gets deleted

Deleting your Slates account permanently removes:

  • Your account credentials and profile information
  • All Slates (scripts, storyboards, inspirations, voice notes)
  • Any media attachments uploaded within the app
  • Your usage history and preferences

This action is permanent and irreversible. There is no way to recover your data once deletion is processed.

Option 1 — Delete from the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside the Slates app:

  1. Open the Slates app on your device
  2. Go to Home Settings
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm the prompt — your account will be queued for deletion

Option 2 — Request via email

If you no longer have access to the app, send a deletion request to:

Email us to delete your account →

Please include the email address associated with your account in the message. We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation once complete.

Data retention after deletion

After a deletion request is confirmed, your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Backups are purged on their normal rotation cycle within that period.

We may retain minimal records required by law (e.g., transaction logs) for the legally mandated period, after which they are also deleted.
